The goal behind the Happy Fit Homeschool website is to encourage parents on their unique journeys. My hope is that you will be able to find useful information to simplify your day. I am constantly researching educational concepts and ideas for up-to-date information. I personally utilize hands-on, kinesthetic, exploratory, and sensorial techniques in our homeschool. I have listed our current curriculum choices on the home page.

Bachelors in Counseling Psychology
I have worked in both public and private schools as a certified paraprofessional. In college, I originally majored in Early Childhood Education, but I felt led to complete my degree in Counseling Psychology. I am currently a client advocate at a pregnancy crisis center and I am about to begin working toward my master’s degree in Educational Psychology.
My husband and I have been married for 13 years and we have three sons ages 5, 7, and 9. We have grown to love homeschool and I am hoping that I can share my enthusiasm through this blog.
